Long-term visa
An application for a long-term visa for a purpose requiring a stay in the Czech Republic for longer than 3 months can be submitted at every Czech Embassy abroad. There are different types of long-term visas depending on the purpose, e.q. Family, business, sport, etc.
Long-term stay
You must apply for a long-term stay in case you want to stay in the Czech Republic for more than one year. As is the case with long-term visas, long-term stays are divided depending on the purpose.
Permanent residence
Permanent residence allows the holder to reside in the Czech Republic without restrictions and guarantees equal conditions in the Czech Republic.
Permanent residence is divided into several categories. Residence can be granted:
- after five years of continuous residence in the Czech Republic
- for compatriots who can prove their Czech origin
- for holders of the EU Blue Card
- for children born in the Czech Republic
- for the purpose of cohabitation
Employment card
If you intend to work in the Czech Republic or already are in the Czech Republic on a long-term visa or long-term stay for another purpose and plan to be employed in the Czech Republic, you can apply for the employment card.
We will gladly help you with the request and documents necessary for acquiring the employment card.
Conflict in Ukraine
Conflict in Ukraine - if you are a citizen of Ukraine, we will assist you in obtaining a visa for temporary protection in the Czech Republic or in securing a visa for a stay of over 90 days for the purpose of perseverance in the country.
Registration upon arrival
Every foreigner is obliged to register upon arrival in the Czech Republic. Failure to do so will result in a fine. Registration upon arrival is carried out at the Foreign Police. We will be happy to help you and accompany you.
Legal status of long-term residents
If you already have permanent residence and have not yet been granted the legal status of a long-term resident, you can request it if you meet certain criteria.
